Separated at Birth

This artwork is a love letter to one of the my best friends, Andreas Papanastasiu, who is also an Artist. Even though we were born in different parts of the world and have vastly different experiences in family background and education, we share extreme similarities under our physical exteriors.

The work presents our vast emotional and cognitive resemblances, almost as if we are a set of twins separated at birth. The two-piece art work is able to be displayed individually or conjointly. The shaping of this work also changes depending on the location of display. The shape of the work and the color of the yarn represent our physical differences.
